Flint River Paddlers Founder and Chair Eric Hall

Eric Hall has been whitewater rafting for over twelve years and just started kayaking (more than once or twice a year) in October of 2007. Due to the closest Paddling club being in the Fenton area, Eric contacted the Flint River Watershed Coalition (FRWC) and founded the Flint River Paddlers (FRP). Eric has also been working very closely with the FRWC and Recreation Engineering and Planning to work towards replacing the current Hamilton Dam with a Man-Made whitewater rapid feature that will restore the river in this area and also add a recreational element that is not currently available in Flint. Besides founding the FRP Eric is also working on starting a Michigan Chapter of Team River Runner, a group of volunteers that teaches wounded Veterans from OIF/OEF how to kayak for alternative therapy and recovery. He is also a member of Raw Strength & Courage Kayaking, a group of whitewater kayakers out of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Eric also has his own business, "Eric Hall's Kayaking Services" and he represents Bliss-Stick whitewater Kayak sales and West Virginia Adventures (whitewater rafting trips).
