All,
Just trying to send out one last e-mail in regards to the trip to West Virginia to run the Upper Gauley River. As of last week the trip was still planned for October 11th, to only run the Upper Gauley, however it was just me myself and I confirmed for rafting. My wife was planning on coming along and staying in the campsite as was one of our friends. Our friend ended up not being able to come, so my wife most likely will not come either for the obvious reason of sitting there by herself the whole time. So basically I am trying to put one last opportunity out there for anyone who wants to go with to raft on October 18th and 19th now. I just got the following information from my buddy Rob who owns the company, they are offering a special end of season deal the following weekend which just so happens to be Bridge Day weekend that includes 3 nights of camping, 2 days of rafting, Saturday on the Lower New River and Sunday on the Upper Gauley. Here is all of the info and it really is a great deal, the even better part is the rate, for $139.99 you can raft both rivers cheaper than you normally can one river. It also allows first time rafters to take on the Lower New River Class III & IV rapids first before taking on the World Famous Beast of the East, the Upper Gauley River Class V Rapids. Either way, please respond ASAP so I can figure out which way we are going. I should know by about 2:00 pm today whether or not our friend is going to be able to go, and if she would be able to go the 17th-20th or not. Hope to hear from each of you soon either way.
BRIDGE DAY WEEKEND BLAST
Its time again BRIDGE DAY WEEKEND is almost here!!!

Raping it up back here for a Hog dinner with all the fixens and drinks.
Rafting your choice of the Upper or Lower Gauley On Sunday the 19th.

So come all drop all those god for bid plans and enjoy a relaxing time with us all here at West Virginia Adventures
All,
Update: Just got off the phone with West Virginia letting them know that we may be changing weekends to take advantage of the Bridge Blast deal, and they basically told me that a correction on that was going out today. The e-mail was supposed to read "$139.99 for the Lower New Day and $50.00 more for the Upper Gauley on Sunday." This would even be a great deal as the total of $189.99 would only be $10 more than the normal price to only run the Upper Gauley at $179.99. Rob had originally offered us the Upper Gauley trip at $149.99 if we had more than seven people coming down, and when I asked them if they wanted me to send out a correction for the info for the Bridge Blast deal, they said not if we bring enough people to make it worth it for them. This is a great potential to get a great deal on this trip, but we need the numbers to get the price. Therefore if you are interested in taking advantage of this, send the info on to anyone and everyone you know who may want to head down there with us. If you have any questions or want to discuss further, please do not hesitate to call me. Looking forward to lots of responses.
